Hello, welcome to the advice pages. Here you can find all the information to deal with any academic issues that you may have, and also signposts to other services for any other kind of problem.
We offer free, confidential and non-judgemental academic advice to students seeking information or representation. Our aim is to provide you with the information you will need to make an informed decision about the options available.

If you have any other type of issue, (housing, health, finacial) then there are a number of different services you can contact - Liverpool Students' Uniion (LSU) Advice Centre, the University of Liverpool Student Support Services or even the Citizen's Advice Bureaux. Please see the contact detail below for information of how to access these services.
If you are unsure which of these services to go to, or are just confused about your issue, then please don't hesitate to give us a call or email, and we'll be able to point you in the right direction.

The Liverpool Students' Union (LSU) Advice Centre (www.l-s-u.com/pages/advice) offers free and impartial advice to Liverpool University Students on housing, financial, health and personal matters.

Student Support Services (www.liv.ac.uk/sas.studentservices/index.htm) offers a range of advice within the University, including student physical / mental health, finacial support, disability support, international support and a counselling service.
If you are looking for any of these services then the best person to contact is Liz Champion, the Student Support Assisstant, at ssa@liverpool.ac.uk or 0151 794 6674.
The Student Services Centre can be found at 150 Mount Pleasant (next to the Guild) and is open 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-4pm Friday.
The Citizen's Advice Bureaux (www.citizensadvice.org.uk) offers free advice regarding debt, benefits, housing, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems to everyone. They offer advice face to face, or via telephone or email but the website is the best place to start when looking for the closest service to you.
