► Welcome to the Anime Society minisite ^_^

We'll try to keep this site updated with all the information about upcoming social events and suchlike but our main home on the web is our Facebook group. If you cannot access Facebook please send a message HERE

We are a friendly group of anime fans who hold regular screenings (Fridays at 7pm) throughout the year in the International Lounge at the Guild of Students as well as various events.

At the beginning of each semester we show a selection of anime series and the most popular ones as chosen by you are then screened for the rest of the term. We also have a manga library available at every screening for members to use.
 

Throughout the year we also have various events such as:
- Cinema trips, either in our own private cinema (when we can rent it) or at Fact or Odeon depending what's on.
- Meals out, Christmas, welcome events...or because none of us can be bothered to cook.
- Bar and pub trips (pub every Friday after screening but we do add variety -mostly in the drinks we buy)
- Charity events, we raise money by auctioning off fantastic items from Japan, eating far too many sweets, dressing up in cosplay, quizzes (officers word is final on all answers) and by generally having a good time.
- Trip to Anime Conventions - any cons you want to go to let us know and we'll see what we can do

The Guild

Hello and welcome to Liverpool Guild of Students!

As a University of Liverpool student, you are automatically one of over 17000 members of the Guild. We are run by 4 elected students, who are supported by staff and volunteers.

The Guild aims to make students lives better, through campaigning with you to make positive change and providing you with a huge range of opportunities to meet other people, gain new skills and have fun.
