In order to avoid disappointment when booking last minute, please check the list of current room bookings at www.lgos.org/thebase follow the link “what’s on in the Guild week commencing ……….. “We cannot guarantee that a room will still be available, but it will give you a good indication of what is NOT available Please note that you need to give as much advance notice as possible when making room booking applications.

If yes, this must be purchased from LGoS as we can accommodate most requests and budgets. In exceptional circumstances, permission may be granted for groups to bring in their own food providing they can produce a current Food Hygiene Certificate from the person(s) providing the food. Please note that none of the meeting rooms are licensed, so alcohol is not permitted

Groups found to be serving food at meetings without having informed us in advance run the risk of their meeting being immediately shut down.

Any additional requirements e.g. plasma TV, DVD, Fixed projector [only available in the Hub Training Room], particular number of chairs/layout, technical equipment. Please note that LGoS does NOT have a portable projector available for use.

Kindly be aware that if you intend to bring in small electrical items, such as CD Players for use at your meeting these will need to be PAT Tested beforehand. Please email meagle@liv.ac.uk to arrange this.

Please note that where possible rooms are allocated according to numbers attending and suitability. Those activity groups with very small memberships are reminded that they can meet, informally, in the Guild’s common areas such as the Courtyard and Saro Wiwa Bar, providing there is not an event taking place.
