ACE Africa

To raise awareness of the key issues which ACE Africa supports and offer financial help to aid such issues. ACE Africa supports communities in East Africa affected by HIV/AIDS, especially vulnerable children and orphans. The group will aim to raise money to help support the charity’s projects and to increase awareness of the effects of HIV.

Amnesty International

To raise awareness, membership, money and support for AIUK.  To educate members about international human rights issues, provide help for individuals at risk, and to encourage members to spread this awareness.  To encourage pro active local and community movement towards the bigger international cause.

Campaign Against Climate Change

Campaign Against Climate Change is part of the global network of eco-activists who work to put solutions to climate change on the agenda. As students of the University of Liverpool, we aim to lobby the University to set an example in the fight against Climate Change. The group also network with international groups to raise awareness through direct action.

Marrow

To recruit volunteers to join the bone marrow register.  This register is set up to save lives of people suffering from bone marrow failure e.g. leukaemia.  If you are part of the register you may be called up to donate bone marrow.

Morroco-Prague Hitch 2009

The hitch is organised by Link Community Development, which is a registered charity - they have been the driving force for hundreds of students to make this journey every year since 1992. Link fights for children in Africa and their right to an education.
