Volunteering

Volunteering with LGoS

LGoS offers you inspiring projects that benefit both you and the community in Merseyside. The placements and projects on offer will provide you with skills and experiences that will enhance your employability to make entering the tough job market a lot easier.

I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do - Helen Keller

Volunteering is simple. It's just about giving your time to do something useful, without getting paid.

Why does LGoS support Volunteering?

We believe volunteering is fundamental in promoting community development and cohesion. In a difficult job market, volunteering can mean the difference between you getting a job over someone else.

If you have any questions about volunteering please email LGoS's Volunteering and Fundraising Coordinator; kcooper@liv.ac.uk.
