Financial Suspension

If you do not pay your tuition or accommodation fees the University can financially suspend you. To see a chart that outlines this process click here . If you are financially suspended and would like advice, contact the LGoS Academic Adviser.

Ensuring that you have enough funds to support your time at university is not an easy task. If you're having trouble budgeting, the University and other organisations can provide much needed advice.

University Financial Support Team
The Financial Support Team are part of Student Support Services. The Team deals with applications for financial assistance from the Access to Learning Fund (ALF) and the Additional Fee Support Scheme (AFSS).

If you are going into higher education there is money available to help you, whether from the government, your place of study and other sources. Types of help include non-repayable grants and student loans.

This site provides services and information for those in England who are interested in financial support for students in Higher Education.

Student Loans Company
The Student Loans Company (SLC) is a UK public sector organisation established to provide financial services, in terms of loans and grants, to over one million students annually, in colleges and universities across the four education systems of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

As a University of Liverpool student, you are automatically one of over 17000 members of the Guild. We are run by 4 elected students, who are supported by staff and volunteers.
