► Governance

'Governance' refers to the manner in which something is governed or regulated, a method of management or system of regulations. So in this section you'll find the documents that define how LGoS is regulated, and the structure that carries it out.

Liverpool Guild of Students is led by a Trustee Board of eight elected students and four appointed non-students. On a day-to-day basis it is run by the Chief Executive and staff team. The former sets the strategic direction - what we do - and the latter implements processes and procedures to meet it - how we do it.

All this is articulated in our strategic vision for the organisation and operational strategy for achieving it, both of which can be found below. If you have any questions, please feel free to use the box at the bottom of the page to contact us.
