Volunteering Liverpool

LGoS offers students the chance to volunteer in local community organisations.

Volunteeringliverpool.org is an online database for volunteers and organisations, specifically for the Merseyside area. It has been developed as a partnership between Liverpool Guild of Students, the Volunteer Centre Liverpool, Liverpool Hope University and Liverpool Community College.

Volunteeringliverpool.org is an ideal way of you finding a volunteering opportunity that suits your skills and interests. The opportunities include:

  • volunteering as a support volunteer to provide social & practical support to adult service users to help alleviate HIV related stress & promote empowerment & independence,
  • volunteering as an events fundraiser for the lead refugee arts agency for Merseyside
  • assist in the delivery of football activities in the Kensington area with NACRO.

To register on the website, just click here and fill in your details. You will receive a confirmation email which you will need to respond to. It is very easy to search for volunteering opportunities, which you can find out more about by applying directly to the organisation.
